I planted a small field to peas and oats earlier this spring to get something off it before planting a hybrid sorghum sudan for baling and wrapping.

Here's a pic of it from yesterday. I've never grown this combination before.

What is the best use of this: grazing or bale and wrap? I have other grass grazing available but this looks like good stuff. Either could be grazed or baled.

Also will this peas and oats wait for a week or two?

edit to add: this is also why I feel that most folks who graze cattle, at least in the upper midwest, need to be able to make hay to balance out the growth vs consumption variations through the year.
