Subject: Deere 945 MoCo impeller adjustment???

Marengo, Ia.
I've got a new to me Deere 945 MoCo with the impeller conditioner.

I just got the owners manual and it was pretty vague on setting the impeller.

Anyone have any starting points for setting this beast?

I'll be cutting broam-orchard-clover mix, oat-pea-alfalfa, and alfalfa orchard mixes.

I assume low speed for the alfalfa and high speed for the grass?

The fingers are slightly rounded/smooth on one side. Should I flip them to the new square side?

It wasn't my first choice for mower conditioners but the price was right and I knew the history of the mower. If this hay thing works out and I add more acres, I plan to look for a roller machine.

Thank you in advance!
