Subject: adding radish to millet for hay

Jefferson, SD
I've got a bunch of acres that are prevent plant. I can plant a cover crop that can be baled. My thought is one of the millet varieties. Most likely will bale and sell a majority.
I'd like to add radish & possibly turnips for soil benefit however I'm not sure if the radish and turnip tops will be a problem mixed into the millet hay? Anyone done this and were the tops an issue? I'm assuming they will take longer to dry than the millet but i wouldn't want them to hurt the marketability. I've thought about waiting until the millet is about 4" tall and then making a second pass to seed the radish & turnip.

Thoughts? Does millet hay generally sell well or should I be considering something else?
