NE SD | We are having a wet wet spring here after record snow this winter. Trying to dry some ground out with our 2310 and I know the bearings in the disk gangs aren't the best. The problem is if you lift them out of the ground the machine starts to bounce over 6 mph. They have to be socked in to stay turning which makes it pull harder and if you feather the machine out in a wet spot at least one of the gangs will turn into a dozer.
Disks are worn down to 18" from 20" so they should still have some life in them. Thought maybe removing them might stop the bouncing at least. | |
