Subject: Big covers and floods

KS
Anyone have any experience with big covers, as in tall rye or wheat, and flooding? I have some flood ground and have witnessed some severe damage on a friends farm too. Lots of soil loss and maybe there would be better stability with the cover crop. But, what would be the consequence of having all this material through the flood? I’m talking 2-3 ft of water with lots of current. Just wondering what others experience has been.
