Subject: Take PP on corn, don't plant to beans

SE Iowa
With the forecast not looking so good, I would suggest taking a good look at PP over early June corn or switching to beans and maybe we can get this market back with our own unplanned set a side. June corn is going to have a high drying cost. Here we are at least a week out on getting back in the field with todays rain which puts us to May 21st and rain is in the forecast for the next week which then puts us to May 28th. Corn that is up here looks like crap and is spotty but still coming. Will be in the ground 4 weeks Friday and some of it has been up 8 days while the rest is still spiking. From the progress report yesterday, this delay is over the whole corn belt so we could see a big runup coming. With an announced plan to possibly PP corn acres fairly soon maybe we could rally this market back to profit and hold it there. Better plan then planting June corn and harvesting 25% corn in late Nov or possible frost ruining the quality and yield.
