goodhue county,mn | been the worst spring for critters since the late 80s....had 3 calves get laid on ,I killed one by it choking on pill...couple dead cows...nothing sick just weird stuff.....
….so the other day ,looked in steer yard, there is one tits up , i'm like wtf......got up to it ,still alive but laying with its back downhill, couldn't get up …..so I turned him around and he got up...…...4 hours later same thing different animal...…...called vet and asked if they had a reason for this.....weather been crazy wet and cold, sun was shining that day.....he said they are stretching out enjoying the sun,....and I don't have any level ground on my farm , so its gonna happen....they would have both been dead if I hadn't noticed them, they have gotten a lot of calls for this very thing.... , so he said check them as often as im checking my cows and calves....found 2 more since....there are like turtles on there back …..something new every day...….. | |
