Texas | We put a new AC compressor on in addition to a new fan motor/blower assembly. Prior to this there was an awful noise that was assumed to be the old fan motor. Turns out it wasn’t related to the fan. But this wasn’t confirmed until after replacement. It appeared to be coming from the dryer so we went ahead and replaced it since we already had a new one and a new expansion valve on hand. The old dryer looked to be an original.
Has anyone else experienced an odd AC noise that was dryer related?
We put a vacuum pump on the system and so far it’s holding. Just gotta recharge with refrigerant. | |
