swmn | I have Yetter Poly Spike inserts ready to install on my old rubber closing wheel rims. There are a few replacement closing wheel arms ordered as well, same as the original (closing wheels attach via nut on threaded shaft). I was told today, belatedly, by a Yetter rep that these new closing wheels won't work well on this model tailpiece because it doesn't allow for sufficient gap adjustment between the wheels. Has anyone installed the Yetter poly spikes, Mohawks, etc on this JD threaded shaft tail piece? Did it work out OK or is the gap between the spikes too narrow to work properly? | |
