SD | How many operations are purchasing another planter so you can get the 2019 crop in the ground faster or already run multiple units?
If running 2 planters, do you run 4 operators with 12 hour shifts?
We are going to fix up the old planter and have 2 going this spring on corn and beans. I figure with breakdowns we should atleast have 1 planter going all the time. We plant 24/7 right now, but the ground we farm is too rocky and tricky for high speed planting.
Tv market analysts all say we have the ability to get the crop in the ground in about a week, so I would hate to let those folks down. I figure our operation needs to step up. | |
