Any comments please concerning AVG technologies 'computer clean' program Avast.

I somehow picked up a "FREE" program which I ran [it did not improve anything], tried to contact the company to cancel the free program, and emails bounced.

Now I'm stuck with a subscription!

Beginning to think I've left myself wide open !
