Columbia, MO | I probably don’t have all the necessary info and therefore probably shouldn’t be posting this...
BUUUTTT...
A friend says “the cell phone in a lot of ways acts as a cell modem- could it possibly have the bandwidth and baud capacity to receive RTK correction from our DOT base stations (RTX via the internet webs) and then, thru some hardware with Bluetooth capability, transmit those corrections to our monitor?”
Again, lots of variables... not sure which monitor, or even if such a streaming device via Bluetooth even exists sufficient for streaming those kinds of corrections.
While I have your attention...
What are some specs (baud rate, Hz range, etc) you could share in general for troubleshooting your GPS antenna and or receiver given the different correction signals? IE WAAS, SF1 & 2, OMNI, and so on?
Thanks folks! | |
