| It's been awhile since I've tried to plot soybean export sales given the government shutdown and the intermittent sales to China. You can see what happens if you back those sales to China out of the numbers and it's pretty much what I anticipated months ago. What's curious is that the months ago, the WAOB predicted a final of 51.1 MMT. It's clear that their 51.1 MMT depends entirely on Chinese purchases. Given the genuine uncertainty about any trade deal resolution, you have to wonder how they could be so confident of their prediction.
