Subject: Precision planting monitor

South Carolina
This same post is in machinery, sorry that it's cross posted.

We just bought a new to us John Deere 7200 12 row planter and are thinking about upgrading the computrak 200 system to a gen 1 20/20. I understand most people don't like the 7200 anymore with the hydraulic problems but I'm a young farmer so this was my best option.

We're not looking to spend 5 grand like the local dealer advised, our only goal is to monitor population and seed singulation. This is an older 7200 so it has a 2 Hole meter, and we ordered a set of the accuvac kits from sidist to pick up our accuracy but not break the bank by upgrading meters and to esets. Essentially we just want to make sure we're doing as best a job as we can.

What all would we need? Would my existing connector for the computrak plug right into the back of the 20/20? Could I just buy a used gen 1 monitor off of eBay and plug and play? We have a 6000 receiver and 2630 monitor on the 8330 we'll be pulling this with. Any suggestions or advice would be great.
