Western NY | I’ve put my 2 kids against each other with a corn yield contest. Winner gets a substantial $$$ reward. 25acres they pick the ground, population, herbicide, and fertilizer. My sons 8 ( knows the best ground and stares at yield monitor across the field). My daughters 12 never has time to farm because of her academics and sports but she is in the top of her class. It will be interesting how this plays out. There both pretty excited. | |
