Subject: Question on Feeding ground corn

Northwest Arkansas
I feed brewers grain to my cattle approx 15-20 lb /Hd/day , I add 2-3 lb/Hd/day of whole corn by top dressing the brewers to raise the energy. It has worked good but I found a good NH353 grinder very cheap so I picked it up to crack the corn in hopes of better utilization. Do I need to feed more ground/cracked or stay the same. Will ground give me an acidosis issue? This is with middle aged cattle .
