NC Ohio | Went out and measured line and it was 11 and a half foot off the ground. Called cable company and told them there insurance company said it was 16 feet off ground. The cable company resubmitted the claim with the correct hieght. Got a call from them and they said they would pay for 50% of my damages now. They would pay for 100% but being that I hit the line at 3 o’clock in the afternoon I should have been able to see it. What do you all think should I fight it some more or take what I can. The line came across the corner of the field just on first round. I was watching the corn head and never gave it a thought to look up in the air. I don’t think insurance company has a clue on what a combine looks like lol.
