| I have a 85 model 1460 that is leaking from the PTO case at the engine. My question is which is the simplest route to fix it. Originally I had planned on pulling the hydro and then the PTO case. I was wondering though if sliding the engine forward would be quicker and if it would give me the room I need to change the seal and bushing. Also if the shaft is in need of replacing would I end pulling the hydro any way to replace it. Any insight from anyone that's been down this road would be greatly appreciated. | |
