Thursday is Valentine's day, in case you forgot.
Many of us think after we have been married a long time, no remembrance is needed. " SHE KNOWS I LOVE HER,AND IF SHE WANTS SOMETHING, SHE CAN GET IT AND I WILL PAY FOR IT " is what some men believe. I was that way with the first wife. 
I would like to suggest that if the previous sentence is how you view Valentines, that you think about it for a moment.
All our wives are special. They have learned that our jobs are our lives, and sometimes the women-folk have to be second in line behind what we have to do. Mostly, they quietly wait , offering help when they can, and usually not asking for much in return.
This holiday is the time we should acknowledge their faithfulness and love for us.
Even if in the past we might have 'skipped' the ' I LOVE YOU'  gift, and nothing was said to us about it. I guarantee she thought about it, and in some small way wish you had remembered.
If you have not usually told her you love her, and appreciate her, try it this year. it will pay dividends.
