Subject: Tiling Short Distance

mascoutah, IL
I need to run a tile from my back yard and hook to a tile about 500ft away. Need to get rid of a wet spot and also want to catch my sump pump line while I am at it. Hate to call someone out to do it. Would probably cost a fortune for the small job. Any reason I can't just rent a ride on trencher with a backhoe attachment and trench it in myself. Field has pretty decent drop all the way down to the other tile. Probably about 3-4 ft so shouldnt have to worry about grade. I would assume this would be easier than digging it in with a mini trackhoe. Would be using 4 inch tile and I believe the trencher will do from 6-12 inch wide and up to 48 deep.
