I am personally unaffected by  the flooding, that area being  located   a similar distance from mine as  Wichita  KS  is from Seattle WA.... and  I experience a massively different climate normally.
   
20 inches in  a day?     Wow that's  2 years normal rainfall for my area. 
But then to have it day after day is simply unimaginable to me.

It is very kind of you to note and  express concern for those affected.
