Subject: John Deere 4430 Hydraulic Problem

Strasburg North Dakota
Have a 4430 in the shop that the trans oil light will comes on and is very hard to steer at low rpms. Seems to be fine at higher rpms. Replaced filter as well as suction screen. Tested the flow at the remotes and had less than 10gpm so we installed a new main hyd pump but that did not solve our problem. I was doing some reading in a I T manual and it said a simple way to check the charge pump is to remove the hyd filter and crank engine. I did that and there was a steady stream on oil flowing into the housing but maybe not enough. What are some other things it can be or some other tests I can try? Haven`t worked on many green ones so I`m not real familiar with them. Thanks
