Subject: Making grill/smoker out of 2’ diameter pipe.

Manitoba
I have couple pieces of 2’ diameter 1/2” thick pipeline pipe. One is about 40” long and the other 5'. I’d like to make grill out of one. Not sure how long I’ll make it butwill cut some off. Have looked for plans online but no free ones. Should be pretty simple. Have looked at many online that I could try to copy. I’m not that familiar with smokers. Does it just have box off the side for coals?
Not sure how big to make the box and the opening between box and main part. Also needs a chimney. Not sure what diameter it should be. Any advice is appreciated. Had meant for this to be in Cafe but I think this involves enough metal work to be machinery.
