Granville County, NC | Yesterday, was using a post hole auger and the auger got into some roots and pulled completely down and sheared the safety pin. Now I can't get it out. Been digging, maybe 2 feet around auger and the thing is still solid stuck. I gave up at dark and the fact that my back was making me walk around like smeegol from lord of the rings. Anyway, I have a pipe wrench...maybe when it gets light out I will try to back it out...any suggestions? Happened to anyone else? I hate when this stuff happens...I should have been rolling...instead I'm covered in mud and dirt manually trying to unstick a darn auger. Thanks! | |
