Subject: 22nd Annual Kansas Ag Technologies Conference - Jan 17-18

Colby, Kansas
The 22nd Annual Kansas Agricultural Technologies Conference will be held January 17th-18th at the Geary County Convention Center / Marriott in Junction City, Kansas. This conference is cosponsored by K-State Research & Extension and KARTA (Kansas Ag Research & Technology Assoc., a producer led group promoting the adoption and use of on-farm technologies). We have a great mix again this year of research/extension, industry, and producer participants on the program. Mixed in with our invited speakers you will have the chance to catch the latest technology introductions from our industry sponsors and see the results from on-farm trials sponsored and performed by KARTA members this last year.

Presentations and Speakers Include:

"Variable Rate Seeding: Lessons & Future Visions", Savanna Crossman, New York Corn/Soybean Growers

"It's Here: Farm-Ready Autonomous Tractor Technology", Justin Heath, Smart Ag

"Planter Down-Force Systems: Engineering and Agronomic Considerations", Ajay Sharda, Kansas State Univ.

"Farmer Centered Innovations: The Solution to Better Innovation and Faster Adoption", Kevin Heikes, IN10T

"Learning From Two Decades of Prevision Agriculture: What is working, What is Not, and Why?, Bruce Erickson, Purdue Univ.

"Multi-Hybrid Planting: Lessons From On-Farm Trials - What Works and Will it Pay?, Joe Luck, University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Registration and other info can be found at www.KARTA-online.org

We have built a reputation as a premiere conference for the discussion of all things ag tech. Especially enjoyable is the evening session on Thursday, where the free exchange and challenging of ideas is encouraged and enjoyed. We hope to see you there.

Lucas
