Texas | Family member was just at a large grocery store and was still out in front of the building. A woman comes walking up and is holding a bag of chips and asks if my family member wanted some chips. They declined the offer. So next the woman asks for them to please call her family to let them know they can come pick her up from the store.
My family member calls and gives them the message. When they pulled up, the license plate number and vehicle description was written down. Was this all a way to get her phone number and use it for some other purpose?
There are so many deceptive things that thieves come up with these days and so I felt compelled to ask here about it. | |
