| I have a NH T8040 that I intend to plant with this year. It has an FM 1000. I intend to use it to steer the tractor and to provide GPS to the Pro 600 display that will control the planter.
It is only WAAS currently. I'm having a bit of a hard time stomaching the idea of buying unlocks on a display that old. Seems like just throwing money away in terms of depreciation.
Considering putting an AgLeader steer kit on the tractor and then using my 6500 antenna and Integra out of the combine. 6500 is unlocked and subscribed to Terrastar. I think that would be good enough for what I'm doing. Problem is that the tractor is a SuperSteer and I've heard mixed reviews on a SuperSteer and AgLeader.

If you wanted RTK, would you still buy unlocks for an FM 1000?
