Subject: grid tiling tile holes

Washington, Illinois
I have a field I plowed in 4" laterals every 240' this year with plans to split them to 120' next fall and then 60' the next year. After the recent wet weather I have many tile holes where I crossed existing clay tile lines that are apparently still running enough to suck dirt. I hate to hook old clays into my brand new system but I don't know whether to try and plug them or fix them or French drain them along the new tile with gravel. I'm looking for ideas from those who have been there and had success.
