Subject: Plumbing help needed

Leesport, PA
Wanting to install this laundry tub in first floor laundry room with unfinished basement under it. There's a 2 inch PVC drain below I can tIe into. Supply lines below are the red/blue plastic lines. Plan is to drill through the tile and sub floor to bring the supply lines and drain up. Question is, can I use the plastic lines coming out of the floor to the shutoff I will put in place before the braided lines or do I need to use copper once I come through the floor? Also, do I need to use tape or dope on any of the threaded connections? The sink kit came with some tape but wasn't clear on where to use it.

Thanks,

Ryan
