Sooooooo, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the whole theory of air conditioning depend on decompressing refrigerant. When the compressed liquid is allowed to expand it picks up velocity and cools? Kinda like when you open up the valve on an oxygen or lp tank and the compressed gas rapidly escapes and Frost's the valve.
