Subject: Interseeded ryegrass in corn pics.

North Central Illinois
I took a few pictures of the cover crop growth yesterday. I interseeded a mix of annual ryegrass, buckwheat, and Winfred hybrid brassica. First picture is from my 60" row experiment. The rest was on 30" rows. 4th picture is cereal rye drilled at ~100 lbs/acre after corn harvest in late September. Hoping to get enough biomass to get adequate weed control in no till soybeans next spring. 5th picture is wheat broadcast and disked in to corn stubble a day or two before drilling the rye.

Here's a thread from when I was seeding the mix.
