Subject: Starfire ITC interference

Montevideo, MN
Has anyone else had problems with VHF business band radios causing interference that causes complete signal loss? Last fall it happened in my 8420 with the brown box, this spring in 8420 again with GS2. I moved the antennae for the radio back to the mounted planter bar to eliminate the problem. Now I am having the problem in the 9650STS with the GS2. GS2 says it is getting interference from a jammer, when I key the mic. It does not happen all the time. It worked fine for almost 2 days in the combine, then did it 5 times in a row. VHF radio is at about 153 & 158 and the radios are running about 50 watts with a repeater. Is there another fix besides moving the antennae?
