Subject: Ag Leader Moisture Sensor

NW Ohio

We had a moisture sensor go bad last year, and ended the season just using the manual settings to finish up corn.

Installed a new sensor and I can not get the temperature setting to calibrate. It stays on -20 degrees. Right after installing the sensor a month ago, we could move this moisture reading, but now we are back to it not moving. Running a little corn yesterday, the moisture will work, somewhat, but is not very accurate. Troubleshooting in the manual says this should be a connection problem. We have checked everything from the monitor head back to the sensor. Nothing looks out of the ordinary. No mouse problems. Ag Leader support said it is a ground. I direct grounded to the battery the ground cable of the moisture sensor has well.

Still can not get the moisture to move off of -20. I am going to try trading monitor heads this morning. Does anyone know what pin numbers in the plugs this circuit is? Any other ideas to try that I have not thought of?

Thanks
