Subject: Drones for Scouting?

S IA
Has anyone heard or have a link to regulations concerning use of drones for wildlife scouting? I am specifically concerned with Iowa. I have seen youtube videos of people using drones to scout where deer are feeding. I tried finding references to it in the Iowa DNR regulations, but couldn't find any hits on search word 'drone'. I am guessing it would fall under similar 'no hunting same day as flying' laws that are applicable for states where hunters fly into.

It seems like it would be an effective way to scout, but I could also see it being a bit unfair.

Thanks.
