Subject: Disaster Relief Power Crews and IL DOT

So. IL
Driving by the scale at Marion today, I see the IDOT is hard at work detaining all the power trucks headed south to help with the hurricane disaster. My question is why not just let them go? Making them all sit out back for full inspection and then weighing splitting axles is kind of uncalled for in this situation, especially when they need to get moving south to help. This state would rather write tickets then send help.
