nw NC | My DJI Phantom 4 purchased in 2018 does not have RID, so I got a HOLYSTONE RID unit for it. Instruction sheet and video on youtube for the RID unit indicate that data that identifies the drone itself must be written into the RID unit for it to be compliant with FAA and be legal. Instruction states to put Drone Go2 app on your cell phone. I do not have a cell phone. I use an iPad unit for my flight controller's screen. Can the iPad have the Drone Go2 app installed on it? How? Do I get the app downloaded to my computer from some internet source and then transfer it to the iPad? Where would the Drone Go2 app be available?
I renewed registration of the drone as it had expired. I also have registered the RID unit. | |
