West Central Minnesota | I still have an old Versatile "800" that at an early stage of its life was converted to a "850" (basically an added turbo). It hardly ever gets used anymore, but sits in a shed waiting to be used when a backup is needed. I decided to replace the muffler on it last week and just about fell over when parts man told me $1293. I know that it is an aspirated style, but even so there must be a cheaper alternative some place. Has anyone else found a better source? I tried a straight pipe before replacing the muffler once, but could not keep air cleaner from plugging up prematurly. | |
