Mere curiosity.......

What would you guess causes more stress on the articulation joint.....pushing a dozer blade, or pulling a, say, ripper?

I would guess the dozer blade.........since the front axle would not be able to outrun or lessen the push by the rear axle.

In the event of pulling heavy draft equipment.........even if the front axle were not weighted properly, at least the front axle would be trying to outrun the push from the rear.

What say you?
