Subject: N on Soybeans

I've read that soybeans need N help for super high yields. Kip Cullers uses chicken litter. So would N being made available during the summer be a good idea? Taking this a step further. Covercrop legumes would work better with the later planting soybeans. If legumes were mixed with rye, would that delay the release of N until when soybeans could use it most?
