East Central, Nebraska | So here is the deal, I like to keep my round balers very new due to my custom baling jobs. John Deere came out with a bunch of new baler models and to keep with my normal specs i found that I will be needing a 569 or a 569 premium. the premium has some additional options and perks that catch my eye, the most important being the 2 year 12,000 bale warranty. The drawback is that it requires a GS1800, GS2600, GS2630 or command center monitor. That had previously turned me off because of the price of a 2630, after I did some research I found that I could purchase a 1800 for $1000-1800 which doesn't seem too bad. The problem I have again is that I dont use john deere tractors, or if I do they are not new enough to utilize these monitors. Is it possible to put a 1800 in a non 1800 capable tractor to make this baler work? I haven't found out the price difference between the premium and non premium, that might be scary but I am trying to weigh all my options. thanks for the input. | |
