Subject: Anyone stamp their own concrete?

Northeast Nebraska
I'm going to be pouring a new patio and sidewalk soon. I really like the way stamped concrete looks. Anyone done this job themselves? Where did you get the supplies? Doing some research, it looks like it takes several "stamps" to do a job. I had thought it only took one, but I was wrong. The stamp "sets" I found online are cost prohibitive for a one time job, even if my friend split the costs with me, it would still be too much. Unless someone knows of a stamp that only requires one stamping pad.

Any other considerations before I pour? I think I will bury a conduit so I can add an old fashioned street light sometime down the road.
