White Cross, NC | This year was my first season to grow my own crop i had about 100 acres of soybeans and it did pretty good for my first year i learned some things to do different for next year. I have picked up over 300 acres for 2013 and was planning on planting soybeans, corn and milo. I know corn is a very high input crop and was looking to plant 85 to 100 acres of corn. Was wondering if 2013 is gonna be a good year to jump into alot of corn with the prices that everybody is talkng about for next year. IM only 18 and trying to get my farm bigger and still be sucessfull, ive been farming along side my dad and grandaddy but im not worried bout setting new yeild records just making a good profit.
