Oswald No-Till Farm Cleghorn, IA | Greetings,
Down some threads there was a discussion of soybean varieties and where a person could learn more. One way is to chase the Patent but this usually is "pending" for a year or so after the variety is bagged for sale to farmers it seems. Once you learn what the variety number is by asking seed reps and such or by keeping seed tags from prior years or trolling seed warehouses once product is bagged, you can sometimes look at this link or Google that variety number to see who really registered the variety.

Keep on this guys. What we need is a "Nebraska Test" for the genetics we plant. The way the industry works is that you really do not have much knowledge. It can be a bit like buying a tractor of a certain color and not knowing brand brand engine is in the chassis. Maybe you don't care, maybe you do. |
