Subject: Spraying spider mites

Pontiac, IL.
Approximately 10 days ago, the local fertilizer co. salesman and I scouted several of our fields for mites, and had them spray 3 of our fields. Since then little or no rain. Today, he calls me and says the mites have moved in again, and needs to be sprayed again. These beans still have potential, and we will probably spray again, but is this going to be a "every 10 day" deal ? Is there any residual on any of the insecticide sprays ? Just asking, since this is the first year we have ever sprayed for spider mites.
