Subject: Cover Crop Economics

I am a first year graduate student at Purdue University in Agricultural Economics conducting research on the interface between cover crops and corn stover removal. A portion of the project involves collecting data on cover crop costs and benefits.

For those of you who currently grow cover crops, or have grown cover crops in the past, we think you may be able to provide very important information to add to the quality and validity of the research by helping present a case of what cover crop economics look like at the farm level. Furthermore, if anyone has experience quantifying the costs and benefits associated with cover crops, we would also appreciate your advice.

If you are willing to discuss your experience with cover crops, we would greatly appreciate speaking with you. For further information or if you are interested in discussing your cover crop experiences, please feel free to email me at [email protected].

Thank you in advance,
Michelle
