SW MN | I left home this morning sure that I was coming home with a new welder today. Around me here it seems like Miller is the number one choice. Dealer support seems the best for Miller right here so I was done trying to choose which brand. I was all set to get the 252 mig until the dealer told me guys really liked the 212 Autoset. He made a great case for the 212 and the autoset feature. My use is for the farm shop and occasional general farm repairs. Anybody have experience with both migs? Is it worth it to give up the autoset on the 212 to weld 1/2 inch stock on the bigger machine, which I may not do a lot of anyway? Or is the autoset overblown? Any experience appreciated. Thanks | |
