NE Indiana | I know I run the risk here of damaging my hard-earned reputation for modesty, but I am going to nominate Northeast IN as having the world's finest mud. February/March mud in my locale is of the very first rate, the finest stuff known to man. I know some of you southern boys are pretty proud of yours, but it just doesn't compare. Ours is cold.
I have developed this theory over a period of years and judged the mud in the following four categories. Depth, temperature, thickness to which it will stick to work boots, and it's ability to capture a manure spreader and retain it within it's grasp. I used a double secret, proprietary algorithm which I cannot discuss here to judge our mud, and it achieved a near perfect score of 99 out of 100. The only place where we suffer is depth, sometimes the frost underneath prevents us from achieving a true bottomless state.
I'm pretty proud. I always knew we could be the best at something. | |
