Subject: CaseIH 500 & 9170

Newburgh, IN
After several days of running the 500 +Ez-Steer, I have a few questions.

Case IH 9170 4wd.

Steering degrees/turn?
The setup guides show 28 degrees for the 9200's and 20 for the 9300's. I am set on 28. Correct?

Dome position.
The guide says must be over the front axle. The setup wizard has an option for antenna/axle offset. I am at 21" behind. Opinions, anyone?

Wheelbase.
The setup for the EzGuide Plus says to use the whole wheelbase for a 4 wd. Wizard says half the wheelbase. I cant seem to make it work at all when using half the wheelbase.

My problems with accuracy occur when using the headland +AB line. It will follow the AB lines after they are straight, but the second pass around the headlands is poor. I was using the full wheelbase measurement (like it said not to do!)

Should mention we are using WAAS correction.

Really is nice when putting on ammonia in the dark. Been across about 500 acres so far.

Thanks in advance!
