Central Wisconsin | We are looking at replacing one of our 1780 planters with ether a JD 1790 24/20 central fill or a CIH 1240 24/20 central fill on a turn table frame. The JD would have precision Eset’s (not Pro 40’s) and would be controlled with ether JD’s XP on a 2600 display along with auto steer or the 20/20 monitor and 2600 display. The CIH would have their 600 display and use the JD 2600 for just auto steer. Looking for your opinion on the good and bad of each system before we have to decide on what to order in the next couple weeks.
Also looking for opinions on row cleaners. Yetters seem to be what the dealers want to sell but is there anything better out there for 20 inch rows (Dawn? )
