RR Valley, ND; MN native | About 6-7 months ago I had my DSL connection upgraded and a new modem/router was installed.
Ever since, my old desktop with WIN 7 using a USB WiFi dongle will not auto-connect to it. Never had issues with old modem/router.
I always have to re-enter the password and sometimes 2x. After that, its fine until PC turned off or wakes from standby and repeat PW thing again.
I have a work issued laptop with win10. No issues.
2x personal laptops with win10, No issues.
Any ideas?
Keep in mind this all started with the new modem/router and no issues prior.
It was suggested to me something with a different wifi frequency, etc. I do not think that was changed but not 100% sure.
Googling this problem does not turn up anything useful (to me I guess).
